Da un lato, i dischi metallici sono dotati di un nastro biadesivo con adesivo in schiuma di poliuretano a scotch. Questo adesivo è particolarmente raccomandato per applicazioni in cui sono richieste un'elevata resistenza all'invecchiamento, un'elevata resistenza al taglio e un'ottima resistenza alla temperatura, nonché una buona resistenza ai raggi UV, agli agenti atmosferici e ai solventi.
